Work, work, work, girl lemme see that twerk.

Lol, silly title. But I HAVE been working basically non-stop as of lately. I have had a few lazy days but except for that - I've been busy as ever. Fashion week was basically this week and last and I've been in demand as a model. I did get a invite to a designer's show but due to unfortunate circumstances couldn't attend.

This past Saturday I had a pretty amazing editorial shoot with a talented photographer from my area. DiAngela Payne. I got to wear some designs from designer, Emily Pollard -- who was recently featured on the latest season of Project Runaway.

I had a talented team to work with and that was really great. Normally for shoots -- I am usually doing my own hair and make-up which is tedious and time consuming (because I am a perfectionist). 

The make-up artist and I. lol We had matching scarves. Though the scarf belonged to the hair stylist! Bless her for that. lol

Overall the shoot was a hell of a lot of fun - and I can't wait to see the final photos from it. I'm sure I got more than a few usable shots. I am still learning and growing as a model!

I've been trying something new with my make-up routine. Because I'm started to get bored with the same old winged eye-liner and lipstick I do. I think I may just start wearing bold lashes, neutral eye-shadow with a big of a shimmer, and nude lips. I think with spring coming up that would work best with the trend of black and white I'm going to have so much fun with.

Some of the newest black and white items to grace my closet. I just need a pair of black and white beetle juice pants. Some black pumps. White jeans. A flowly black or white top. White dress. And few other items and I am ready! LOL I don't even really care for the other trends. The B&W one is my fave.

The last time I blogged was in November of last year.. and wow... have I been busy. It's 2013 and the first month of the New Year is almost over! Crazy how times flies. ⊙_☉

Anyways, this post will just be a quick review on the months missed that I haven't blogged.

Well first off, I am dating again (actually have been dating him since October) we're 4 months strong (almost 5). He's a pretty rad guy. Such a sweetheart. More on him later. (◡‿◡✿)

My freelancing work has been on and off but since the new year has started it's been going crazy! I've been so booked lately that this is the first time I've had a free moment to myself to sit down and breathe and think.

Random side note.. I took my glorious septum piercing and I cannot get it back in. m(><)m

Ah, it's the day after Thanksgiving. I still feel friggin' stuff... I wonder why...

Oh that's right.. because I pigged out and ate like never before. Yeesh. At least it's over. It was nice to spend time with my family and of course, eat - eat - eat!

Today was the dreaded Black Friday holiday. I don't really get the point in it, but I guess it's for those who think they're getting a deal on things. It's stupid and well.. violent from what I heard. You won't see me waking out of my bed at 3AM just to go wait in line in the cold at some store for something I may or may not even get.

I did do a little shopping though...

Nine west ankle booties that were originally $90USD... and I got them for $32.99 on sale! They are a little big but none the less, they are glorious and comfortable!

They go excellent with this Velvet dress I got from Forever21 recently..

This dress fits perfectly and is flowly and so gothic I love it! Oh well.. I'm gushing.. I'll leave you with my silly face.
