She's is the one called Sailor Moon!

So recently.. (Last week I believe), Sailor Moon Crystal premiered. And while I had my notions about it, I thoroughly enjoyed that the series was getting a reboot.

Here's is a Sailor Moon Make-Up Tutorial.

In the name of the moon! Let's begin lol...

First, start with your foundation routine. I normally use Covergirl's Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation in shade 315 with LA Pro Concealors in either Fawn or Toffee.

I also fill in my brows using an old cheap brown eyebrown pencil (*purchased at beauty supply*) and NYX All Over Concealor to clean up my brown. I then set my entire face with MAC's Studio Fix Powder in NC45.

Next using NYX's Eye Shadow Base in White. Cover your entire lid. Up to your eyebrow and lightly smooth it out with your finger. The white base will ensure the vibrancy of the colors we're using.

Next..

Taking a bright blue eyes shadow, blend it out right above the line of your crease. (Avoiding getting on your lid.) If you have mono-lids. Put it where you normally would your crease shadows. Blend out! I used the color Booty call from the Naked 2 pallet to blend out the blue closer to the eyebrow.

Next add a hot pink or pink to your lead and a white to the inner corner of your eye. Blending the colors together the best way you can. To blend the pink into the blue I used a dark purple color.

Line your lid! A heavy cat-eye works best!

Line the lower waterline of your eyes as well. (*I also went back with the White base and on-top of that put a purple color and to blend the pink and white added a faint gold.)

Coat your lashes with mascara, and if wanted add false lashes for that added flair.

Finally, add a light pink lipstick to your lips. (If you have bigger lips, you might want to add a a concealer around them to make them appear smaller and only fill in where you did not apply concealer.)

And finally your transformation is complete!

And now I'm off to destroy the nega-force!

Hope you enjoy this look as much as I had fun making it.
Hope you give it a try and find it useful! It can always be toned down to wear for everyday.

Alright moonies I'm out!

It's time. Well... It's been time.

So... It's Friday... and this post is long over due but I haven't blogged in a while and I'm going to make it a habit to blog more. Even if it's everyday.

This past Sunday I got invited to go to a birthday celebration for a big up and coming artist in my area. I went out earlier in the day and shopped for a outfit. I didn't really have much new and never before seen in my closet so I figured why not just buy something fresh.

I'm very picky when it comes to outfits, especially because of the occassion. And because it was a club based event, I wanted to wear something sexy but classy at the same time.

I eventually settled on a neon pink chinese inspired dress. I wasn't too keen on it at first because of the color but once I tried it on, I fell in love. I even settled on a new hairstyle (a wig) to go along with it. I normally don't settle for short hairstyles -- especially in wigs -- but once I tried it on I fell in love with how cute it made me look. So here's the over all look:

This was me getting ready.

This was after.

Very sexy. I didn't get too many pictures or video and I'll try to make a habit of doing so. But overall I had fun. I even got to party with one of my old friends I hadn't seen in like 3 years.

Wednesday I had a quick photoshoot. I wasn't feeling too well but I did it anwyays to kick myself back into the groove. I hadn't shot in a long time.

One of my favorite looks from the entire shoot was a NANA inspired look:

I can't wait to get the photos back. I have plans with those. Oh well. Going to make this short and sweet. Having a day with my love tomorrow starting with visiting his church so we'll see how that goes.

✌️💗

What is today? FML day?

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

So I had a pretty screwed up day. щ(ಠ益ಠщ) It all started about 7AM this morning. I was scheduled to have surgery this morning, and I was to arrive at the hospital around 8:30A. I get there on time, and I am told I'm going to have blood drawn, and urine (excuse my bluntness) taken again. I am fine with this. My surgeon performing the surgery was to arrive at 9:30A. So once I have all the necessaries taken, am stripped of my clothes and placed in a hospital gown - I lay in a bed awaiting for my surgeons arrival.

9:30 rolls around and no sign or word. ( ̄へ ̄)Okay, sure... I can wait. Maybe you're running a little late. It is only 9:30am.. Time rolls on and still no sign or word of this fool. At almost 1PM. 1 FRIGGIN P.M... I get word from nurse that his wife went into labor and my surgery would be set as a priority of his for next week.
I nearly went on a rampage for that. Like I spent the time, effort and money to get there and on time. Not to mention the hassle it took me to make that appointment... and this happens.

This year started off as a derp anyhow. What could I possibly expect?

For the year to go better. That's what.

Anyways.... Less complaining more positivity!

So yesterday (Sunday) was the first sunny day in a long time and because I thought it was gonna be the last day to enjoy while I heal up from my surgery for a while I decided to dress up and look perty.

I just decided to blog again after having not blogged in over a year. I just either didn't think I had much to blog about or just lacked complete motivation to blog. Buuuut then the year ended and I realized I missed prime blogging material.

Sooo - here I am again. Blogging once more! I will have better blog post coming soon. I promise. With pictures and more. :)

Work, work, work, girl lemme see that twerk.

Lol, silly title. But I HAVE been working basically non-stop as of lately. I have had a few lazy days but except for that - I've been busy as ever. Fashion week was basically this week and last and I've been in demand as a model. I did get a invite to a designer's show but due to unfortunate circumstances couldn't attend.

This past Saturday I had a pretty amazing editorial shoot with a talented photographer from my area. DiAngela Payne. I got to wear some designs from designer, Emily Pollard -- who was recently featured on the latest season of Project Runaway.

I had a talented team to work with and that was really great. Normally for shoots -- I am usually doing my own hair and make-up which is tedious and time consuming (because I am a perfectionist).

The make-up artist and I. lol We had matching scarves. Though the scarf belonged to the hair stylist! Bless her for that. lol

Overall the shoot was a hell of a lot of fun - and I can't wait to see the final photos from it. I'm sure I got more than a few usable shots. I am still learning and growing as a model!

I've been trying something new with my make-up routine. Because I'm started to get bored with the same old winged eye-liner and lipstick I do. I think I may just start wearing bold lashes, neutral eye-shadow with a big of a shimmer, and nude lips. I think with spring coming up that would work best with the trend of black and white I'm going to have so much fun with.

Some of the newest black and white items to grace my closet. I just need a pair of black and white beetle juice pants. Some black pumps. White jeans. A flowly black or white top. White dress. And few other items and I am ready! LOL I don't even really care for the other trends. The B&W one is my fave.

Okay, short post. I'll post again possible tomorrow. Since it is Valentine's Day... adios.

Pour it up, pour it up.

The last time I blogged was in November of last year.. and wow... have I been busy. It's 2013 and the first month of the New Year is almost over! Crazy how times flies. ⊙_☉

Anyways, this post will just be a quick review on the months missed that I haven't blogged.

Well first off, I am dating again (actually have been dating him since October) we're 4 months strong (almost 5). He's a pretty rad guy. Such a sweetheart. More on him later. (◡‿◡✿)

My freelancing work has been on and off but since the new year has started it's been going crazy! I've been so booked lately that this is the first time I've had a free moment to myself to sit down and breathe and think.

Random side note.. I took my glorious septum piercing and I cannot get it back in. m(><)m

Here's some of my latest work, modeling: (From oldest to newest. Click to view it larger.)

November 23, 2012

Well, I'm stuffed...

Ah, it's the day after Thanksgiving. I still feel friggin' stuff... I wonder why...

Oh that's right.. because I pigged out and ate like never before. Yeesh. At least it's over. It was nice to spend time with my family and of course, eat - eat - eat!

Today was the dreaded Black Friday holiday. I don't really get the point in it, but I guess it's for those who think they're getting a deal on things. It's stupid and well.. violent from what I heard. You won't see me waking out of my bed at 3AM just to go wait in line in the cold at some store for something I may or may not even get.

I did do a little shopping though...

Nine west ankle booties that were originally $90USD... and I got them for $32.99 on sale! They are a little big but none the less, they are glorious and comfortable!

They go excellent with this Velvet dress I got from Forever21 recently..

This dress fits perfectly and is flowly and so gothic I love it! Oh well.. I'm gushing.. I'll leave you with my silly face.

A little fall never hurt anyone.

Well how do, blogger world. I haven't blogged in a months time so here goes a mini-post.

Anyways, it was nice fall day today - About 72 degrees which was a nice change from the previous colder weather. I decided, after working out, to take advantage of the rest of the remaining daylight - grabbed my little sis and set out on a trek to the nearby school playground. And here's the end result.

September 30, 2012

Back to blogging.

Well hello there blogger world. Some of you may remember be, and some of you may not. Regardless, I'm basically going to reintroduce myself. I used to go by Dei, some of you maybe allowed to call me that still but now I'd rather go by the name of which I was given - Chanel.

I'm currently 21, I live in Maryland and I am a freelance model --  basically enjoying my life while I can at the moment. The last time I ever wrote a blog post, was back in February of this year. I was going through so much and have been through so much in the past 9 months I've been away from the open blog world. I'll keep it short and simple. I was broke, depressed and going through a crappy relationship with a guy I know now cared nothing really about me. He cheated on me repeatedly and that played on a lot of my self-esteem. To this day, I can still openly admit it still does but, I can say I am free of his tyranny and I'm proud to be a single person slowly but surely finding out who I am in this world. Remember me now?

This was me a few months ago. Sad, confused and utterly in love. Typical problems for a girl, no?
And this is me now.. Still confused to the world. Still in love with the idiot. But, more me and more free!

The above is just one of many recent photos. I am more inclined to take photos of myself now. My self esteem is no longer... shattered. Still a bit cracked, but ultimately not shattered. I now have a total 4 tattoos and a septum piercing. My hair has gone from red, to blonde, to bangs, to wavy, to purple, to straight, to curly, to wavy, bangs and everything I can think of:

Just my looks from April til Now.

I love how versatile I can be now and I haven't stopped yet. I've bought so many clothes over the past months it doesn't even make any sense, and I could finally afford a new phone! I travelled a lot (mainly back and forth between D.C, home, NY, Baltimore and I went to Miami once.) Things, despite all the bad that has happened, has gotten a lot sweeter. And I bought this baby:

My name is Shio! Nice to meet you. I'm evil to my mommy. But I still wuv her.

I believe I definitely have a lot more to blog about now. Less to complain about, more fun to be had is now my motto. I'm a bit more open minded about things and my head is a lot clearer! And I'm glad to be back in the blogging world. I'm off now to go read blogs that I haven't read in months, discover new ones and just relax.
